What follows are photos from Spring Break, my birthday week, and the rest of March.
Taken at the Blanton Museum. Don't you love art that you can play with?
If you haven't enjoyed this outdoor art, the 15 foot display is well worth it. As a bonus, you can swing from the elastic strands without fear of breaking anything!
An (indoor) exhibit called "What churches are made of." Veils surrounded this area, pennies covered the floor, cow bones lined the ceilings, and communion wafers formed the pillars. Not sure of the artist's message. If you look closely, you can see Monica and Rev trying hard to to roll around in the money.
Brush fires in the distance, on our way to Enchanted Rock. You can't see it, but to the right of the plume there's a speck. This is a helicopter that was circling the fire.
Watch out, boy with rocks in hand.
Our hiking destination: Enchanted Rock. A beautiful (and windy) day it was.

Kite Party.
When you're not flying kites at a Kite Party, another fun game is getting your Daddy to throw you 10 feet in the air. Also, I'm experimenting with
texture in this photo.

One Brett Walker. This is part of a photo assignment for school which will become a composite image. Instead of describing, I'll post the final image in a couple of weeks. I'm experimenting with texture in this photo as well.
