Senior Portraits, Class of 2010

So my baby sister, Deedee, is graduating in a few short months! It's crazy but I still remember when she was a toddler, being pushed into walls by my lil brother (so many stitches) and being rushed to the emergency room for over-dosing on vitamin E pills (they looked like gummy bears to her) and getting gum stuck in her long hair every week (who lets toddlers eat that much gum?). Man, that kid was a talker too. As a 3 year old, she would get around a big group and tell them anything they asked. As you can imagine, those years were pretty exposing for me. As you can also imagine, she's still quite the talker.

I disgress. Unlike the rest of us sisters, Deedee also plays tons of sports! This year she captained the Varsity soccer team, whoop whoop! (I hope "whoop" is not an aggie-only expression.)

I took her out to a few locations earlier in the month and we shot some of her senior portraits. It was coooold and overcast that day, which meant that we couldn't shoot at Mt Bonnel (hopefully those photos will be coming soon). She was a champ in handling the frigid weather. Check it out, Senior 2010:

And this one was taken by her friend after her very last home soccer game. Yes, tears were shed after that game, don't judge. Anyway, here are the sisters:
