You'll notice that her regalia includes red tassles and chords. This is only an indication of which academic discipline from which she received a degree. In this case, it was UT's College of Communication. I feel very lucky that the College of Engineering's color was orange (not quite "burnt orange" but much closer than red)!
And then there was the party...complete with customized candy bars, large amounts of tamales, and a pinata. Unlike most Hispanic families, ours is very large, heh. Clicking on these will take you to a different slideshow.
